Bananas, pineapples, guanabana and morigha trees, coconut palms grow on this idyllic OASIS and every morning you can get freshly laid eggs from our organic chickens. You can also taste the difference in taste between the 5 different types of organic bananas, or get to know the guanabana tree with its large, health-promoting fruits. To this day, the mysterious fruit of the guanabana tree has been attributed many healing powers, some say it even cures cancer, of course these have not been scientifically confirmed by any pharmaceutical company, and apparently that is why we cannot agree on a common name. The prickly pear, also known as Graviola, known as soursop or guanabana, grows here in Costa Rica and is drunk by the population in delicious smoothies, also called NATURALES, which you can get in every soda (small family restaurant) for under 2,000 colones.

In our paddock, happy cows chew lush grass and the calves frolic around or slumber peacefully among the tropical trees and flowers. This house is in a prime, quiet (apart from the animals singing) sunny location just 3 minutes from the lake. There you can do all kinds of water sports, but also fishing or swimming.
Just 2 km from Puerto San Luis beach, which can be reached on foot in 10 minutes, where wakeboarding lessons are offered and other water sports are practiced. If you are an enthusiastic slalom water skier, then you can perfect your talent here between November and April. Then you can also treat yourself and take a leisurely day trip across Lake Arenal on a 70-foot catamaran with a picnic and swimming and sunbathing.
Only 7 minutes by car is Tilaran, a larger small town on Lake Arenal, with banks, pharmacies, medical and dental clinics, supermarkets, hardware stores, electronics stores, computer stores, gym, restaurants, mechanics, etc.
In less than 15 minutes by car you can find the best surfing and kite spots in all of Costa Rica.
In less than 90 minutes you can reach Fortuna, with zip-lining parks, hot springs, white water rafting, hot mineral mud baths, zoo, canopy tours, or in the other direction where fantastic sandy beaches await. Only 1 km from the town of Tronadora, with restaurants and minimarts. The next neighboring town is called San Luis and is only 2 km away, where you can find further shops, restaurants and schools.
